This is a real bar. The service is good. The food is bar food and is really cheap. It's good and is what you want/need when you're drinking. The atmosphere is everything you'd want/expect from a local hole in the wall bar. If you're thirsty and looking for a great place to hang out and maybe make your regular spot check out the West End Tavern.
No handicap parking. Way too hot and loud. It was so dark you could not read the menu. The salads were wilted. My husband ordered a specialty hot dog with coleslaw, but instead they put a mound of horseradish. My husband almost choked to death. It was so dark, we did not know until it was too late. Service was so infrequent that he just scraped everything off the dog and ate it plain. We will never return.
Great service, friendly staff. Great pop corn, and a Black and Tan similarity in a glass - smooth taste. Like the Jukebox too!

Food was great. Beer was cold. We spent longer than planned but we were visiting with an out of town family member. Waitress/bartender was very good. Polite and pleasant. It is sort of our place to go with out of town family. Many many years of memories. Thank you.
After a hiatus this past year due to health issues, it was great to return to my favorite Findlay Tavern!
I have been going to the west end for years, it's a great neighborhood bar where everyone knows your name. Great food and great people!
First time here, ordered a guinness. Watched it being poured, bartender doesn't know how to use a nitro tap. Barstool springs are worn out.
Great place for a cold beer and good food and non alcoholic beverages
